First year project title: Intention Recognition Backed Robotic Imitation & Observation Based Learning

Biography

I have come to study at the BRL to get a better understanding of agency, autonomy and social dynamics through the lens of robotics. I’m also quite interested in interactions from the point of view of self-organisation and complex systems. One specific area I'd like to explore is robot learning and intention recognition purely through observation and probabilistic inference. 

Regarding my background, I studied computing at Imperial College London where my master’s project focused on tactile sensing based object manipulation with deep reinforcement learning. The challenges of RL steered me towards learning about artificial curiosity and active inference.
