Biography

Since I was a little kid, I have been passionate about technology, robotics, and computing. This motivation has driven me towards several learning paths in search of new knowledge and skills. In this sense, I see research as a way to discover new concepts and apply them to benefit society. I am a biomedical engineer with a master's degree in electronic engineering from the Colombian School of Engineering Julio Garavito and the University of Rosario. As a roboticist and software developer, I focused my previous projects on developing assistive and rehabilitation technologies. My main goals are improving the quality of life, recovering independence, and retraining the mobility of people during activities of daily living. Robots, for instance, can use amazing sensors, efficient actuators, and incredibly fast computers. My mission is to exploit such power for the benefit of people for rehabilitation and assistive purposes.
