International Students

Please note that FARSCOPE is able to fully fund two international students per year. This funding includes a stipend, payment of tuition fees and a small budget to cover conference and travel costs. If you have any queries relating to joining our programme as an international student, please let us know on farscope-cdt@bristol.ac.uk; we would be very happy to put you in touch with one of our existing international students. 

Please also note that we are happy to accept applicants who are able to self-fund. However, evidence of funds to cover the full duration of the programme (i.e. four years) will be required before any offer can be made. Please also note that self-funded applicants are required to go through the application, shortlisting and interview process as per other candidates. 

Our international students are encouraged to take part in the annual programme of events offered by the Bristol International Student Centre (BISC), who are located directly next door to Queen's Building at the University of Bristol. Their events include weekly lunches, regular Friday evening activities, and trips around both the city and wider region.
